ABOUT

The McMaster Hearing Society is a MSU club that aims to bridge the gap between d/Deaf and Hard of Hearing and hearing students in the McMaster and Hamilton community. We work to highlight and stimulate discussion surrounding challenges that students in the d/Deaf and Hard of Hearing communities experience in the front of accessibility, share and lead actionable steps in supporting organizations, such as the Student Accessibility Services (SAS), with hearing-related advocacy efforts, and bring awareness to important communication skills, such as American Sign Language (ASL).
